Forum on the Nuclear Fuel Cycle
In conjunction with the Senate Science and Technology Caucus and Senate Nuclear Caucus

Pursuit of global nuclear power will depend upon its cost, safety, waste management and proliferation risks. Closing the nuclear fuel cycle has been suggested as one approach to sustaining nuclear power while addressing nuclear waste concerns. Others point to risks associated with current technologies as a reason to delay such a choice. Our panel will address the benefits and risks related to reprocessing and answer questions from the audience.
