About the Foundation The Foundation for Nuclear Studies, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, provides information and educational opportunities for policymakers and the general public about nuclear science and technology, with the objective of promoting sound national policy. In pursuit of its mission, the Foundation sponsors a highly regarded Congressional Briefing Series with forums on a broad spectrum of issues related to nuclear technology, ranging from medical isotopes to the transportation of nuclear materials.
